What an adventure today. Kulm, ND

Friday May 21
Today's address of service location happened to be the address of one deacon from the church we were going to. That address was actually a farm. My GPS had told me that the way to our destination today included (more) dirt roads so I thought "well another country church..." Once near our destinatioon and because of the ammount of rain in the area, the dirt road bagan to fade away until it completely dessapeared covered by the grown grass. Since we seemed to be alredy near our place, we thought we would drive over the grass. However the soil was very soft and wet and we got stuck in the mud.
We, me and the guys tried to get the van out without any success. Edson and I walked to the nearest farm to get help. One of the deacons from the church we were visiting that night owned that nearby farm. He and his son brought a tractor and got us out of the mud. It was today's adventure!!!!

La dirección del servicion de hoy resultó ser la direccion de uno de los diaconos de la iglesia que visitaríamos. La dirección nos llevaba a una granja. EL GPS me había dicho que el camino hacia nuestro destino incluía algunos caminos de tierra, así que pensé bueno...una iglesia mas en el campo. Ya que estabamos cerca de nuestro destino y debido a la cantidad de lluvia, el camino de tierra poco a poco empezó a desaparecer hasta perderse en la hierba que estaba un poco crecida por la lluvia. Como ya estabamos cerca de nuestro destino, pensamos que podriamos pasar sobre la hierba sin contar que la tierra estaba muy suave y mojada por las lluvias de los dias anteriores. Así que terminamos atascados en el lodo. Tratamos de sacar la camioneta sin exito alguno. Edson y yo tuvimos que caminar a la granja mas cercana para buscar ayuda. Gracias a Dios el dueño de la granja era el diacono de la iglesia donde nos presentaríamos esa noche, asi que él y su hijo trajeron un tractor y nos sacaron del lodo. Fue la aventura del día!!!!!
